they are high in Omega-3-fatty acids. The recommended daily intake for alpha-linolenic acid for an adult, according to the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ernährung (German dietary society), is around 1-2 grams.
Furthermore, in all of our products are made from rapeseed oil, which is also rich in Omega-3-fatty acids. These fatty acids are essential to humans. In addition, the fish oil of carp roe contains large amounts of these fatty acids as well. Omega-3-fatty acids must be part of a balanced diet since our body needs them for cellular growth amongst other things. Omega-3-fatty acids are also seen as the most effective fatty acids in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Alpha-linolenic acids also have anti-inflammatory properties.

According to EU 116/2010: » A claim that a food is high in omega-3 fatty acids, and any claim likely to have the same meaning for the consumer, may only be made where the product contains at least 0,6 g alpha-linolenic acid per 100 g and per 100 kcal, or at least 80 mg of the sum of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid per 100 g and per 100 kcal. «
